Energise Me | The Amazing Benefits Of Using Tea Tree & Peppermint Oil During Bathtime

I'm back with another skincare post, but this time on a favourite bath time product of mine that I use regularly, but infrequently. What I mean by that is, I have been using it consistently for years, but not as part of my everyday bath time routine. It has peppermint & tea tree oil as its main ingredients and it works amazingly well for my skin and definitely makes it into my skincare essentials list.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND PEPPERMINT & TEA TREE OIL

Peppermint (Mentha Piperita) is a hybrid mint from, spearmint and water mint. Tea tree oil (also known as Melalucea) along with peppermint oil is an essential oil and they have many healing properties in the skin, hair and body. I have listed below some of the amazing benefits of using peppermint and tea tree oil in skincare products for bath time:

- Natural energiser (great for tired feet)

-Relieves itchy and sore skin

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO KNOW?

It's not so much related to the brand being by the 'Original Source', but mainly to do with the active ingredients that they have chosen to use. I just particularly like this one! I makes sure that I keep it as part of my bath and body skincare products for the amazing benefits that are listed above.

As well as that, I love the 'strong minty fresh smell', it makes me feel really refreshed and super-energised. If you ever feel like to want a pamper or relaxation kinda 'bath time' it's definitely the kind of product you need. It also soothes and calms after a session at the gym or even after a long day when you just want a night time bath.

The best time, I find where I use it the most, is during the summer months because I tend to feel very itchy and irritable because of the hot weather and 9 out of 10 times, I definitely would reach for it morning or night. So it entirely depends on what you need at that time!

If you think any of these benefits, sound promising to you, then maybe give it a try! Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope you liked it. And I would love to know what kind of bath time products you use, so please comment below.

Lots of love J x
